The MAP lists specific mission plans we intend to engage, so as to be ready and flexible and faithful to follow the Spirit of God as a diocese when new possibilities for ministry are revealed. Where we actually find ourselves will be up to God and us.
It is our vision that we will be a “household of congregations,” and that each of our parishes will share with others “its blessings and challenges and desires of the heart,” so that we work together for the mission of Christ.
To this end, the MAP helps us focus on key goals with a continuing openness to missional experimentation.
