That’s a Wrap on the Meet-and-Greets!
On Thursday, we traveled to Grace House on the Mountain to tour our Appalachian service ministry. We had lunch with Anita Boyd, director of Grace House on the Mountain; Sharon Salyer, the assistant director of Grace House; and Trevor White, Grace House volunteer and member of Christ Church, Big Stone Gap. Anita, Sharon, and Trevor shared the history and spirit of Grace House with us, and showed us two recent worksites.
We then traveled to Christ Church, Marion for dinner together and our last Meet & Greet.
Today, we are sharing in a closing Eucharist at St. James, Roanoke, and preparing for convention and next steps.
Thank you for following along and packing the house, we are so grateful you came out to meet our candidates—the energy in the full rooms was a gift to the process! Thank for joining us at the Meet-and-Greets in-person and online, and we encourage you to watch all the Meet & Greets if you haven’t already. We’re grateful for a prayerful week together, attuned to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in our diocese!
