Day Four of our Meet-and-Greet Week
We are grateful to the folks who joined us last night online and at Westminster Canterbury in Lynchburg. If you missed it, you can watch it here on our Youtube Channel.
On Wednesday, Christ Church, Blacksburg, hosted a clergy breakfast so the candidates could meet and share conversation and questions.
We went to St Paul’s, Bear Mountain in Amherst to meet with members of the Monacan Nation and learn more about the Monacan Nation’s work and worship.
We then headed to Westminster Canterbury for dinner with Bishop Heath Light, a retired bishop of the diocese, and Ann Vest, whose husband served as bishop of the diocese of Southern Virginia. We had our second Meet-and-Greet at Westminster Canterbury yesterday—thank you again to all who joined in the conversation! Today, we will be meeting with Anita Boyd, director of Grace House on the Mountain, and Sharon Salyer, the assistant director of Grace House; we’ll tour Grace House and visit worksites.
