From all of us on the Transition Committee, thank you! We are grateful to everyone who watched, listened, prayed, volunteered, hosted, and joined us this past Meet-and-Greet week. Our Diocese is defined by our relationships to one another, and this past week made those relationships deeper and stronger. In our closing Eucharist on Friday, we gave thanks for a week of listening to God, safe travels throughout our Diocese, and for the work of discernment that comes next.
What comes next? First, you can watch our Meet-and-Greet recordings, read the candidate’s essays & the Diocesan profile, and pray. If you are a delegate, we encourage you to reach out to other delegates and members of your community to hear their insights as you discern. If you are a parishioner or otherwise non-voting member, we encourage you to find out who your delegates are and share your thoughts with them. If you are a Warden, Priest, or other leader of a parish, we encourage you to make the connection between your people and their representatives between now and convention. Diocesan Convention will hold the Election for the Bishop on the morning of January 31st beginning with Holy Eucharist. Worship and the election will be livestreamed on the Diocesan YouTube Channel, and more information will be shared soon.
